Daniel Ripley is a distinguished San Francisco Bay Area chef and caterer.

He founded Daniel Ripley Catering in San Francisco in 2001, and it has steadily grown into a thriving and reputable business, gaining popularity for its fine cuisine, professional service staff and most of all Daniel’s hands-on, personal style with his clients. Daniel delivers the attention to detail and personal touch of a boutique caterer while offering the bandwidth of a full service catering company. He maintains an impressive client list including: Chase Bank, Tiffany & Co., Prada, Wells Fargo, SF Symphony, SF MOMA, Robert Fountain Design, Kathleen Deery Design, Radeff Design Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, UCSF, Pollack Architecture, and Zephyr Real Estate. Daniel’s understanding of the catering business comes from many years of experience and dedication to the finer points of service and quality.

After graduating from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon, Daniel began his culinary journey as chef de cuisine at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. After several years behind the line, he took a position as Executive Chef at the Crescent H. Ranch in Jackson, Wyoming. Ready for a change, he migrated to the San Francisco Bay Area where he would begin his career in catering.

Daniel Ripley Catering opened its doors in San Francisco in 2001 and is now one of San Francisco’s top boutique fine caterers, producing up to two hundred events a year. His attention to detail, love for celebration, and appreciation for food can be experienced in every event.
